I’d try to rotate the handle with it (handle) in different positions. If that didn’t work I’d replace it. They’re not that expensive. Not coming down is far better than it coming down when you don’t...

There’s a company that advertises in Hemings that has automatic ratio rears for ‘49- ‘51 cars . It is a drop out center section so changing would be easy. If you want that info I’ll send it to you...

Not trying to hijack but......is having the u-joints in phase only taken into account when a drive shaft has been altered....change in length or in-put yoke.....if you just change u-joints do you...

I’m using the five in a ‘50.... It’s accurate and works well... I wish the repop tanks had the drain plug..... I’m going the same route in a’51.... tank and the sender from Shoebox-Central....Mark
