Re: nice Canadian powerhouse generator

I have 2 5 brush Powerhouse generators I would sell for $50 each but I imagine the cost to mail them would be expensive.

Re: Condition of Rear End Gears

It looks to me that the drive side of the gear is smooth and the coast side is the rough side. If this is the case, the smooth side of the gear is in contact going forward and the rough side of the...

Re: gunk won't work!

As a precaution, be careful of the asbestos dust when using any "dry" method of removing the crud inside a bell housing. Most likely the best way to contain the asbestos dust is by using a wet wash...

Re: Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

And that's the point I've been trying to make. We all have the freedom and opinion to choose whatever engine we want and if someone has to downgrade a certain type of engine to justify their choice...

Re: Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

It seems as if you are reading too much into what I stated. The following statement of yours pretty well sums it all up, "its about building exactly what you like".

No where have I ever passed an...

Re: Soda blasters,home use

My apologies for the message. I left my laptop open and my cat was lying on the keyboard when I came back and I guess she must have sent this message.

Sorry about that.

Re: Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

There was no "nonsense" in my statement regarding a Chevy V8 as I wasn't referring to any engine other than a flathead that had been modified. The only point I have tried to make on this topic is the...

Re: Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

Often times when I read some people extolling the virtues of a flathead Ford engine versus a small block Chevrolet engine, I get very confused when I see the many pictures of flathead engines on this...

Re: Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

If building a Hot Rod is the owner's personal choice, how is it wrong if they install an engine that someone else doesn't approve of? Do we all need to conform to the wishes of other people if we...

Re: Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

I'm neither stupid nor lazy and I'll be damned if I would use a certain type of engine because someone who is not paying for it thinks I should change my thinking. Its nice to have brand loyalty but...

Re: 28/29 open car rearview mirroe bracket

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the style you are looking for but the top part of the mounting bracket looks like it would bolt to a round tube shape. The ears on the wing nut are broken off.
