The car’s original owner swapped the hood & grill out in favor of ‘34 versions, prior to parking the car in 1946.

The original owner installed the ‘34 hood & grill some years before parking the car in 1946.

This car has been garage kept since new. I’m it’s fourth owner. It’s never had rust or even a door...

Thank you. Yes, the original owner changed the hood & grill sometime in the late 40’s or early 50’s.

The guy in North Carolina that does the door conversions is Don Smart (Valdese, NC 828-874-4609). Here are a few photos of the pieces he makes, which yields a nice conversion.
