Got a note from buyer !said to deliver to fastenall ,they would use fork lift to remove from truck and take it from there,pretty simple,,all I have to do now ie get it fastened to a pallet and shrink...

Anyone have a pic of bolting a engine on a pallet,might have to ship a complete engine, ,guess just use common sense, use bolts or banding

Lifting a 8ba engine

Is it safe to lift engine by removing carb and bolting lifting device at the3 bolts ?? Have seen it done on some newer engines on the shows ..seems like a lot of weight for the small bolts

After about 10 years getting my 36 5w rebuilt and ready for paint I sold it to some else to finish,at 84 I didn’t want to leave a mess for the kids to deal with,still have a couple to play with that...

8ba engine

Nice running 8ba engine ,on a stand right now ,need to keep stand,also have the bell housing adapter for the early transmission,engine is complete ,starter ,carb exhaust ,dist,etc,,...

Had same problem ,I know you said you have checked timing ,but make sure you are on compression stock when dots line up,had mine out a180. ,,,easy to do

Point spring tension gauge

Had a distributor on sun machine a few days ago and noticed I was dropping flashes just about at any rpn,,new bushing were installed awhile back everything looked good,but did not have tension gauge...

Friends 8ba engine say one air jet is almost closed off to get it to idle correct,it this carb problem or look somewhere else,engine has recient rebuild ..this guy is 90 yrs old but still going...

Got a 6 volt battery now,,I’ll hook up and see what amp draw is ,might tell me which way to go,,

I have a older sun machine that uses a 6 volt battery,,,,I donít use the dwell or rpm gauges as I have a external dwell and rpm meter,, would like to rig up a PS to eliminate the battery,,anyone...

Gas tank on top of frame or in between on 36

I have tank on top of frame but think it should go between rails ,,,,I canít get body to sit down on frame like it should.....??????
