BTW. the FL - 300 fits the Y Block... I bought one from
Home depot. for $5.50. they are the short version...
that was the least expensive price I had seen...

Hi
On the Y block the rear seal is held in place by 2 bolts
can you tell me what size they are and what type they are?
I have not seen that type of bolt head on any of my other cars

dash... Don't ask my why... on my 62 Ford and 74 Dart I made an electrontic
VR very easy... just a resistor......

Did I make a mistake, I had not seen the bell housing for over a year, stored
away. I went out and looked at it, and it does have the mounting pads..

So we have not hit on the the DOHC yet,,,
but don't forget guys that during WWII, the Ford GAA was a DOHC
HEMI head, 2 distributors. So Ford was not unfamiliar with the engine...
