Re: Removing Steering Column Clamp Screws

Re: New video on How to Do a Lube Job on a Model A Ford

You are a lucky man. I am also. 58 years last June.

My wife has never been in to helping with the car, BUT she can roundup cows, all 5" 3" 115 pounds of her. One time I had her help me drill a...

Re: Touring with other Model A's - How does your club communicate

I have read all of the previous comments and have a question. How is it okay to use a CB or FRS radio but not your cell phone?

I NEVER text, seldom use handheld cell (use speaker, which might...

Re: Recap of the "Let's get personal" thread

Re: Recap of the "Let's get personal" thread

Cows don't fart, they splatter cow manure. Good for the fields and the gardens. Not good for antique cars, especially Model A fords. You have to be careful where you drive.

Re: Do you drive your A in the snow or stormy weather?

The question was for Magicbox51 who said they didn't use salt where he lived, they use chemicals. I am well aware of what they use to ruin our cars in most places. Just junking a truck eaten up by...

Re: Did you read the blog about the issues with the Judging Standards

I always thought the forum was a place to ask questions, maybe not? I always thought folks would respond with useful information to help the questioner, apparently not? I don't ask many questions,...

Re: Battery

Batteries CAN BE DANGEROUS. Many years ago I came down an exit ramp from an Interstate just as a man shorted the battery on his car. It exploded in his face. I stopped, he was screaming, the lady...

Re: Does anyone have any left over Bonnie Gray paint?

I took my 1970 Karmann Ghia to a commercial paint supplier. He used a scanner on the hood after rubbing it with alcohol and mixed a perfect match for touch-up. IF i wanted I could have bought a quart...

Re: Swap meet ad responses

Oh Purdy,
I can't agree. I quit the Chevrolet CORVAIR sites because of the rude, unhelpful, unhappy people.

Some grouches here, but I ignore them.

Thank YOU for your excellent posts.

I hope to have...

Smile Re: Head lights

John,
What year is it? I have a set of sealed beams that attach right to the 1929 buckets, which I am not going to use, with 6 v bulbs. Came off my 1929 RDSTR PU in 1970, gathering dust.

PM me...
