Jim you were right on. I just looked at the photo again this morning and noticed the tank hanging over the front instead of the rear. Good eye!

Robert is correct about the split core for '39. Not so say that the core was replaced and a split core was not used. It might fit a '38. It sure looks like a '37 to me though.

It does look like a '37. I will compare it to a '37 radiator I have. It most likley could be a service replacement type of the period.

It's always good practice to avoid ethanol gas for many reasons. If you drive your early Ford weekly, you'll likely have no problems.

I have been advertising V8 60 parts for sale on the swap meet page. I sold some. I have a timing gear and crank gear, tansmission cluster gear, some valves, guides and springs left. All NOS parts.

I'm interested to know if the holes line up with the OEM sender unit and the new tank flange? Or does one have to drill and tap new holes?

V8 60 Valves & Guides NOS

7 NOS, V8-60 valves, 6 NOS Guides & 2 NOS springs. Three of the valves are marked Exhaust. I'm not sure that it makes any difference. These are all NOS pieces.

Looks like the big gear is 29 tooth. If you need the other tooth counts I'll get them at lunch today.
