Oil stop leak products are for engines w/synthetic material seals, like neoprene for example. With age and heat the seals tend to stiffen up, lessening there ability to seal against the moving...

The toggle lever shaft housing was loose on one side of my A. I just squared it up and gave it a couple of good tack welds, it's been good for a number of years.

I've heard others complain about the look of sealed-beam headlights, but i don't understand it. My '31 CCPU has sealed beam headlights installed by PO and they don't look any different that stock...

It sounds like the cable was "pumping" the grease up sorta the same way a screw pump works.

When we were cutting up cars for scrap in the 1950s we used axes. $19-$20 a ton for scrap steel.
