Gas tank on top of frame or in between on 36

I have tank on top of frame but think it should go between rails ,,,,I canít get body to sit down on frame like it should.....??????

Honor flight

Just got back from Washington DC (sat) where I went on Honor flight of KY,
There were 74 Vets and there guardians,one of my best days in many a year,got to see all...

Put a vacuum gauge on wiper line and adjust mixture jets on carb for max vac,,,had the same thing last week,,,,,,worth a try,,,

Torque on heafswas good after cooling off,
Filled radiator and put bottle of Barr’s stopl leak in,ran for about 20 Mom, moisture appears to have slowed considerably !,,maybe just needed heated...

Thought it might condensation also but let it warm up for what I thought was long enough .
Will retorque tomorrow and try again,the gaskets are composit so might pull down enough ...

If it ran before it should run now!you saidyou painted everything ,on inside of dist !remove pains andget a good coil and condenser!its not rocket science,think it thru!!!

Did you get slot in cam engaged into dist when installing,remove one side of dist,and crank engine,look to see if rotor is turning!!

The Hobby is still alive!!! In MB visiting my daughter and attended Run to Sun car show,about 3500 cars ,everything you would want to see,....gave out about half way thru,had a little of the Hershey...
