or use a light bulb of a sufficient wattage and cover the engine with any blanket . If you are worried about the bulb burning out while unattended, use 2 bulbs.

Ideal = .019 thou. Most all set at .020 because it will soon be .019 because of point block wear. Set between .018 - .022 are spec parameters. If not within these, reset at .020

There was an excellent post by a well respected engine builder a while back that described the max timing for original and HC engines. 21* for 6;1, 23* for 5.5;1 and never above 28* for stock 4.2...

Bratton's or Snyder's has the "fake" nuts you questioned. Bratton's # 12300 and Snyder's # A8501-MBM. Easy pump removal W/O removing radiator. I think all the venders also carry them.
