Here is the underside of mine. No evidence of a missing connector. Yes, I knew I was missing the foam insulator. Usually you can see where the wire was connected, but not finding it on this one.

Thanks guys. This is going on an F1 steering box and tube. I didn't know if I was missing some parts that the horn wire attached to. I'm not seeing any place on the horn ring to attach the wire and...

Where does the horn wire connect on a 1950 Ford steering wheel. Lots of pics of the front of the wheel but have not found anything on the back side.

This was my solution to put a 10 inch air cleaner on my flathead. I had a
crusty oil bath air cleaner that was on a 39 engine. I cut the bottom
out of it and then matched it to a new air cleaner...

Another suggestion is to replace the top bushing with a bearing. O'Rilleys has a wheel bearing part number 7-04133 (12 bucks). This bearing has a small lip which you grind off and it fits perfectly...
