It was a twisted “heavy paper like “ material
I have replaced it with multiple strips of waterproof upholstery board
Cut and glued together as put in layers
Sorta laminated on each strip

It can also mean a situation for a company to get back on its feet.

Those are quite rebuildable. Usually run $85-110 each depending on what has to be repaired. Beats $200 each!



If it is just the remote (triangular piece) it could be much less!

You have to be careful polishing nickel as it is softer than chrome.
Too much polishing removes material
I use wenol on chrome and whatever little nickel I run into

This is a brand new dash assembly for 42-48. TYPO IN DESC

Never used, still in plastic wrappers. Probably Drake but not labeled as such. Drake is out of stock but Mac's does list them for $260.
