Just something else to consider on your gear ratio is the size of your tires . They look to be a bunch shorter than what would be original . Take into account the diam. of current tires vs original....

Like 35 fordtn said but i used a seatbelt buzzer so i could hear it when twisted under or in the dash . Even on six volts they usually work just a little less obnoxious.

The only thing i can suggest is to remove the sparkplug wire and see if it changes . If its anything listed your still going to tear it down to find out . Starting with cyl heads . Id pull the plugs...

You can use a 12 pt socket on square Bolts and nuts they make special 8 ptsockets . Ive got an old craftsman set .

No way that head gasket was sealing . Please clean and recheck with new gaskets . Take a pic with the gaskets laid on . Water will find its way to the pan . If it was mine i would not tear into it...

One pic looks like the head gasket was leaking . But you shouldnt have oil in the water unless the rings werent gapped properly or are cracked , but you have decebt compression ?
