Re: Maximum tire size on 19” A rims / risks?

Re: What did you do working on you Model A today

Did the final touches on putting Bonnie back together after putting in the correct tappets (actual solid '32 tappets) for the B cam I installed a year ago. I had the skinniest base (0.990"...

This is a new Snyder head with 2k miles on it, and the block was...

Blocked water holes in head & block deck

I'm ready to reinstall my Snyder 6:1 head after a project, and I noticed there are two plugged or blocked holes in the head, small ones between #2 and #3. The very same holes are plugged or blocked...

Re: Ford authorized sale of "imperfect" model a engines.

Without hurting any feelings of minorities, It is a reference to Gypsies being non citizens in many countries of Europe (origins from Romania) and disdained by xenophobes and ethnic purists and...

Re: Ford authorized sale of "imperfect" model a engines.

I'm not sure what that means. Does it mean that the Secretary of State in a particular state (or Federal) came up with a replacement engine number series?

I would like to know more about it for my...

Re: Ford authorized sale of "imperfect" model a engines.

I have an "S" in front of my number. In fact it is clearly "SOS" followed by numbers.
The engine has also been restamped below, which is on my New Mexico title. I wish I knew what the other stamp...

Re: Reuse model a oil in another vehicle w oil filter

Re: Reuse model a oil in another vehicle w oil filter

Thanks for both replies. I'm not necessarily trying to save money (though not a bad idea); but am more trying to find a practical use for potentially good oil. Can't see turning it over to the...
