Re: Float a motor

With the float a motor mounts my engine shifted far enough forward so that the engine pan bolts could not be removed. I went back to the original mounts and can't tell that the vibration is any worse...

Re: Float-A-Motor mounts

My FAM allowed the motor to shift far enough forward to prevent the removal of the front oil pan screws. I had to go back to the original. I don't feel any difference in the ride. I would not use a...

Re: Was it Chrome or Stainless for Bumpers

Chromed repops that I have bought in the past did not hold up. Chrome started popping off and rust popped through. I have stainless steel ones 20 years now and they look new.

Re: Headlights

My switch rod had a raised area right where the lever was formed onto the round center. That was dragging on the steering wheel causing the switch to move when I turned the wheel. I filed the area...

Re: Leakage around the head gasket

I know from experience that it works very well. Years ago I had seeping around the head gasket. I added one container of stop leak crystals and ran the engine until hot. I never had another head...

Re: 1928 solid front crossmember. Anyone install float motor o mounts?

Rear float o motor mounts let my engine shift forward so much that I couldn't get the front oil pan bolts out. I went back to the original rear mounts.
