If the problem is loose bleeders, try speed bleeders. They have a one way check valve for easy bleeding, and a sealer on the threads. Used a pair in the front wheel cylinders today and worked well....

Before removing the radiator you might try to remove the u bolts. The technique described by Steamer worked easily for me on my 29 a couple weeks ago. Reinstall was a snap, too.

I have recently had a coil failure such as you describe. My Model A would run fine for 10 minutes or so, then it would start missing and barely run. Once it cooled down completely, it would run again...

Okay, Ryan, figured it out.

I used rosin core solder to build up the bottom tip of the horn rod. The horn works perfectly every time now.

I took a picture before I smoothed out the new solder....

I just wanted to follow up on my own recent post. Several miles of driving today, several stops and starts all confirm the problem with my Model A was most certainly the coil.

It sure runs sweet...

I tried the flexible magnet tool first. It kept sticking everywhere but where I wanted to go. Then I tried the magnet on the flywheel and sweet success!

Thanks Seth. I do want to clarify that it was a bit more than the $10,700. That was where the bidding was when the eBay sale was stopped. I think we got a good buy and a fair deal for both parties....
