Not really i will ( and can i hope) still walk to the shop and adjust a distributor etc. I have had very little warranty over the years we have figured out what goes wrong and made a patch for that...

WOW , you ordered a distributor on Jan 19th and i have received at least six emails wanting to know where your distributor is . I answered every one but i was in the hospital for about two weeks...

Dont do this !! I warranty and adjust any dist we build for life , you just put it in a box with 25 bucks , i will adjust and return to you.........
This is one of those that should be a esy fix...

Gary , the dist is oversized , after doing 2500 plus of these i outlived a couple machine shops. My latest must have machined that one over sized a bit . You could cut it to size or return to us ,

watching the spark timing on a distributor machine without the piston the spark lines kinda jump from side to side at idle. These units dont ever show wear and even a new one shows the same...

Mike , I bought 12 sets of CS47 from my napa warehouse friday after noon and they were all the good ones .
A lot of parts folks do the re-box thing by the hundreds ...never know where they are...
