Lol, after many close calls with the fender brackets in the garage, the foam was necessary. Yes, also went the 5 lug route and a 9 inch for highway cruising. Wheel choices are also better. Thanks...

Sounds like maybe a fuel issue. Check pressure and volume. Or, if you can get it to act up while revving it up, spray carb cleaner down the carb and see if it picks up.
