I'm a Ford man, I have 2 31Fords, but I also have a 1947 Chevy Coupe that I would like to change from a generator to a alternator. It is all ready changed to 12 volt system, has a 235 6 from a 55...

I reset the points have spark at points but no spark at coil wire

I have 1931 ford tudor can't seem to get a spark, new coil, new coil wire, new battery new wiring it will fire once in awhile but dosen't stay running getting gas can see it dripping out of carb....

Drums are the ones that were on it got the lining from Mac's and use the same shoes off each wheel haven't tryed cenering wait on tool to do that

I've redone the brakes, new rods replaced most of arms and put new linings on all 4 wheels now I can't get the drums back on tryed lots of things any ideas on what to do next. Brakes are on 1931...

I would like to know if I could use a 2 pice distributor shaft to replace the long one pice that is being used now?
