The late '32 torque tub and driveshaft is 8 9/16" shorter than the 33-34 V8 pass car torque tube.

Just lift it off,simple as that.Then you can move the trans clutch arm by hand until the throw out bearing prevents it from going any further.You might want to have a helper grasp the clutch pedal...

I get it.I had a similar problem and my young friend went over the fender to pull the cotter pin and push the clevis pin out to re-adjust it. A little tighter space wise with the V8.Your 4 Cyl will...

You do not need to remove the other pin.That other pin also has (or should have)the return spring connected to it. Just lift up the clevis and "unscrew it " to take out some of the play.

Do you have the dual Oil/Fuel or single fuel gauge in your dash? Either way the 36 electric gauge will work but you will need to replace the sender in the tank. The 36 dual Oil/Fuel is getting harder...

The clevis is connected to the clutch arm of the transmission.That is the only one.Pull the pin then lift it up and unscrew to adjust the play.

They are like 5/16" square bars about 2" long that can be made or Trautwein in NY who makes the repos might have them.Bob Drake has the little screws for $4 a set.Part number 3108A.

Bob's were spot on.If you hesitated you missed out.The primered one looked lumpy.After 34- no wire edge,just a rounded radius.Those were on EBAY and now sold,2 sets for $3K.Not mine

If its genuine Ford there should be a part number underneath.I worked at Pep Boys in the early 1960's and they carried all kinds of outside rear view mirrors.That location probably is not the best...
