Look at the "top" dash board, See "SWAP Meet"....click on "SWAP MEET" and scroll down the "WANTED" section and try this post there!!!! Might help there more than here!!!

It's amazing how these can be such a pain in the ASS. I STILL haven't found anyone that can tell me how to affix the "choke knob" back onto the choke cable on my 39 Mercury. Didn't find much more...

NO expert BUT being a brass fitting/tube wouldn't it be a "NPT" or a National Pipe Thread because "Machine" threads do not "seal" so you couldn't seal the "vacuum" with a machine thread!!! MY...

I don't have a "mowhawk" brand but I do have a #9000 two post that I bought used. Its fantastic. IF you are buying it to work on your cars with beyond oil changes then IMO the two post is the way...

This is a couple of pictures of Don Rogers fine looking 36 panel.....it shows no such weld.....exposed anyway. Maybe he will chime in here and verify IF its just a 35 only thing OR if they smoothed...

At this point, have you done a compression check on the motor??? What do your plugs look like???? AND I will say....at least on the distributor issue.......Just because its running good on an engine...

For those still following or interested......I measured the toe in last night and it's 7/16" (at least) toe-in too much. I got 51-1/4" on the front of the rim flange and 51-3/4" on the rear rim...

It's hard to say "exactly" what is going on even with your video.....I would check the vacuum line and make sure that it is solid and hooked up correctly, its seems like the timing isn't advancing...

Yes it was a lucky find, Ford (OF Germany) used the same horn from Model A's thru 1932 BUT there is a few "differences" between them SO I have to make a "few" adjustments/modifications to the...

FORGOT, here is the new Generator installed, I also found and am working on the "correct" Bosch horn for the car so have "many" Irons in the fire for this car right now......more than I care...

I guess I should give a little more info. The car is just out of a fresh restoration from the ground up, SO I suspect something is loose OR not adjusted correctly??? So it would be nice to maybe...
