Re: Coil.coil.coil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit confused. I have a 6v 59A with an electronic module and a petronix coil. Jim had said on another thread that the coil shouldn't be more than 1.5ohms but .6 is too low? what is the perfect...

Re: Electronic pain!!! Ignition !!!

Re: Upholstery Staple Gun Suggestions

Will a 48 trans bolt up to an EAB?

I'm starting to notice a deep knock in the bellows of my 59A engine in a 48 sedan stock drive train, no OD on the trans, so I'm trying to think ahead. I have a complete EAB in the garage, and I was...

Re: Dropped axle

For those with lowered front ends, what shocks are you using? I assume they need to be shorter.

48 Sedan Trim Removal

I'm wondering how to remove the stainless trim all down the sides and hood. Are the clips the style you pry at the bottom and lift up?

Window Regulator Skipping

By chance does anyone have a picture of the passenger door window regulator for a 48 sedan? The other day when it was hot here my son went to roll down the window but it was stuck from the bead...

Re: 59A Breaks up around 1/2 throttle

Charlie, I still have the original coil off of the car, which I think is in good shape, will that work or should I go with the new coil?

59A Breaks up around 1/2 throttle

Being new to flatheads, and starting off with one that wouldn't run, I'm happy to say I've put around 1500 miles on it this summer with the help of you guys. My only issue that I need to resolve now...

Cowl Vent keeps falling

I have a 48 sedan, when I got the car, there was a cotter pin going through the middle pivot. I replace that with a 1/4" bolt and nylock nut with slight tension on the bolt. Also the one rod was not...

Re: Installed a crab cap, now no spark

For those of you who said broken rotor, you are correct. I ordered the parts off of amazon for a 1942 car, it's a convenience using it. Foolishly I didn't check clearance when i had the distributor...

Installed a crab cap, now no spark

I'm so frustrated, as I'm trying to make my car more dependable, I've made it just the opposite. I have a 48 59a in a sedan. I've been getting an intermittent misfire when it rains so I assumed...

Re: Gas tank

Not sure if Ford was doing this back then, but now days manufacturers change part numbers for tracking purposes, even though the part is the same. Also, I put the tanks inc plastic tank in my 48...

Re: 48 coupe- fuel tank filler pipe hose installation question

If you can't get it on by warming it, the upper filler neck unbolts fairly easy, that's how I had to do mine.
