Bob, the important measurement you need is the spacing at the vertical join-strips for the rear/side cab panels and the pickup front panel. The cab and pickup bodies are located via the body bolts....

FYI - RGJS - page 13-3 - black painted 12-24 oval-headed screws used through July 1928. Page 13-4 - bead was only along the lower edge for 1928. Anti-squeak for all front shields indicated.

From what I have seen/read about the Chuck Bulger vehicle, it was a home made body with 82-B closed cab doors. The Ford sold 290-A Standard Police Patrol used the same doors as the 85-B panel...

Sunvisor-to-hinge-post - 1/4-20 slotted, oval head screws were used for 82-A cabs with the sunvisor mounted mirror bracket A-17737 d2. This was er/1928 - 3/1929. These cabs had a d3 hinge pillar.

FYI - A and AA commercial vehicles used 82-A closed cabs into June 1930 (so into mid 1930). June 1930 the 82-B closed cabs started production.

For the 82-A closed cab - #1, 2, 5 are #10 x 3/4" sheet metal screws (oval head and nickle plated). Used with finish washers (.224 ID x .580 OD). #3, 4 are #12-24 oval head and nickle plated.
