Was a common fix to tighten the axial play on the pumps.
Measure what you have adding a gasket may lower the performance of the pump.

Leaving a block empty can actually ad more issues then when in use.
Air getting to metal and you get a fair amount of rust that then gets into the core of your new radiator..
Worst is if you used...

Bypass valve is set at 80psi so i wouldnīt worry until you have a reading over that at operation temp.

A picklefork is only good if you are throwing the part into the garbage after removing it...any rubber seals and often part itself gets damaged using it...

Otherwise you will get a leak like that.
And the returnline to the oilpan not clogged ?

Didnīt snap-on make a lot of the carb tools...atleast most my float gauges are from them...so maybe you can take a look in one of their old special tool catalogues.

Itīs not a very good idee to just use a 12v regulator on a 6v generator...a fair chance to burn the field coil and relay..

2 fairly easy options for conversion available.

1: Buy a 12v field...

If you are balancing the rotating assembly...sometimes choosing a lighter pin avoids adding heavy metal and thatīs a bonus...drilling out metal balancing is one thing..adding weight is less fun....

Every LED H4 iīve seen this far hasnīt had a correct beam pattern that...

Just about any machineshop should be able to put a bronzeliner in your existing guides.
I use K-lines liners and just put them in the lathe and ream them there.

A pic of the vehicle front would easily identify a -41 pickup which is a very nice model.

Since they are ford pistons they came without pins installed...should be pins available from several of the big parts vendors and the piston manufacturers like Egge.
They are early non offset...

I still have an old yard where the engines are out in the field in rows upside down to keep rain out....thoose engines was good...

The bushing/bearing never rotates unless clutchpedal is down...so canīt affect fueleconomy in any measurable way.

Why on a ballbearing is...if you have friction you get heat...then you get expansion and galling that destroys the bearing surfaces and even catasthrophic failure.
You want the very boring version...

Isnīt the bellhousing bolted to the tranny with 4 bolts...
Taking a GM aluminum bellhousing and cutting/welding a plate that fits to the tranny wouldnīt be to much of a hassle....

Urethane would probably poor just fine into a latex mold.
Get hold of a good aftermarket trans mount and make a latexmold from that...

Depends on what pulley is on the generator to...From smallest to largest around is 2 sizes of belts different !
