Re: Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

I’m not familiar with the locking setup...didn’t know there was such a thing for the trucks.

Re: Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

Thanks, I will adjust my online search. This ‘35 part fit my ‘36 with no issues. It mounted in to the factory holes. I also did a mock up fit of a spare tire with the existing plate and the tire...

Re: Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

Thanks for all the input and the picture. Yes, mine would actually be for a 1935 with the smaller wheel bolt circle. The triangular mounting plate was altered sometime in the past but now I know what...

Re: Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

This is how mine looks. Are you saying that the larger triangular bracket also mounts to the lower bolt that goes into the box? Mine has been altered sometime in the last 80 plus years...

Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

I have a spare tire holder that bolts to the running board of my ‘36 half ton but it’s not made for the wide five bolt spacing. It came with my project. Did Ford make an adapter to fit this wheel? I...

1935/36 Pickup Top Windshield Brackets

I need the two brackets that connect the windshield frame to the hinges.

My research tells me that the car brackets are different from the pickup.

Thanks.

Re: Wide 5 Artillery Wheels

I actually have these on my current truck project. One of them needs replacing and I need one for the spare tire mount.

I called locally to get mine blasted and powder coated and was quoted...

Re: Wide 5 Artillery Wheels

Tony, thanks. I did check Craigslist but must have used a slightly different search term. All I got in my search was rusty ones that looked questionable.

Wide 5 Artillery Wheels

Are there any manufacturer's that make these wheels? Looking for the 10-1/4 bolt spacing. If not, where is a good place to buy used? I need a pair.

Re: 1936 Pickup Bed Questions

Thanks. You mention tying in the bottom of the front panel with the wood and that would be fine I think, but the side panels are close to 6 feet long and there is nothing to fasten them to at the...

Re: 1936 Pickup Bed Questions

So, no one answered my main question about whether I should replace the metal floor. I decided today that I should. I think it will help with the structural integrity of the box. The only other...

Re: 1936 Pickup Bed Questions

Thanks. I did talk with Bruce this morning before I posted. He didn't seem to think I needed to reinstall the metal floor.

Re: Wide 5 Artillery Wheels

I guess my question now is am I limited to a '35 drum only if I want to change? And the next question would be availability.

Re: Wide 5 Artillery Wheels

I have a completely stock '36 setup. Manual drums brakes and no intention of going hydraulic. Are '35 drums my only option?

Wide 5 Artillery Wheels

My project '36 pickup has the artillery wide 5 bolt pattern. I have some questions.

Was this a stock wheel for 1936? Car or Truck? I'm measuring a 5 x 10" bolt pattern but read somewhere that...
