I do have a 5.5 head on a fairly strong engine.
I do not plan to run an overdrive.
Running a 354 may be a good fit for me.

Drilled everything out to 11/32. Oversized pins slipped

I shipped them by UPS. It took about a week each way.

What happens in the carb if the float is set to high or if the float is set to low? How does the engine run? Miss,surge etc.

Zenith question

Morning
I installed a Zenith carb on my model a . When I start it, I can hear air rushing into the carb. (whisle noise) It did not make that noise with Tillotson.

I took the right motor mount off. Installed motor. Spread frame a little and reinstalled the motor mount.

Thanks for all the info. The mount pads were from Snyders. I will try a little grease and remove the mount if needed. Maybe I will have better luck tonight.

I am changeing the engine in my model a. I am haveing trouble getting the engine to fit between the rear motor mounts. It does have new rubber in rear motor mounts. Any suggestions.

I was able to get a strong running A engine. I checked the engine # with the year of build chart. It says the engine was built in 1934. Also says it has a Model B camshaft and tappets. Is this so?...
