Re: Radius rod ball cap bolts replacement

You can replace them from under the car. pull the pin and push up then rock them out of the hole. You can use a piece of soft wire to help in putting/guiding the new ones in. A good light helps. If...

I tie a string on it with a loop for my finger and use that to pull it back far enough to slide it on the lever. Use a screwdriver to push it over the lever.

Re: Manifold Gasket Replacement - New Video by Paul Shinn

Me too, I prefer about 35#, It might save a manifold and is plenty to hold that piece of metal on.

Re: Tight windows

A little silicone spray might help without making a mess. I had to shave a window once to make it work easily. A glass shop can sand an edge and it shouldn't cost much. The shop I Used didn't even...

Re: 1930 Coupe front end shimmy

Toe in, balance, and a good 10 leaf spring will help a lot to stop that shimmy. Make everything correct and it won't cause trouble!

Re: Oversized Brake Drums

Doing shoddy work that can be called out after an accident will also give our hobby a black eye. It might also lead to targeted regulations.

Re: Persistent Leaky Fuel Shutoff Valve

The trick is to add the fine screen filter in the top of the valve. it is grit and rust flakes that tends to score the surfaces promoting a leak.
