Re: which is the best way to go

I’m going to try synthetic 10w-30 for the next oil change. Looks like a lot of Model A owners are doing this — it’s getting real hard to find conventional oil.

I’ve read that the new synthetic...

Re: DETERGENT OIL vs NON DETERGENT

It’s getting hard to find conventional oil now. Synthetic oil is becoming competitive in price with conventional oil and many seem to be using it. Synthetic oil is said to hold up better under hotter...

Re: Block temp before thermostat opens

I installed a thermostat and bypass after the car continued to overheat on hot days even with a well rebuilt radiator. Made all the difference in the world — no more scary temps.

Re: Marvel Carb fuel bowl insert

In May 2015 I posted a photo of what everyone concluded was either a power or vent valve. I concluded by saying that the carb I was looking at was the only one with that feature and forgot all about...

Re: Marvel Carb fuel bowl insert

Yes, it’s an exact match. The Marvel might have been made to fit other car makes with some mods depending on the make. The insert might be an accelerator pump, two my carbs have the device and one...

Re: Hot water heater will not fit
