On my 48 (which I have owned since 55) there is a L bracket attached to the front of the wheel well about even with floor.

I purchased a rebuild kit from Daytona parts for the carb on my 48 passenger car. In the kit was a spark control valve, looks like a power valve. What carb would use this and what is the purpose....

If you check hydro e lector I believe their warranty applies with ATF only in their cylinders

Kube,is much more knowledgeable than I am, but I did look at a Ford bulletin showing the hydraulic system for 46-48 and it only showed pin but there still could have been a bushing of some sort. ...

Skid marks, all mine had was two pins, I guess there is a little movement at the anchors because of the movement in the top assembly when you are traveling on the road.just a guess but I have owned...

I am by no means an expert but I had a problem with my 59 throwing out the overflow and the problem was the cap lost its seal. New cap, end of my problem.
