at a local car show a few weeks ago a lovely young lady asked me if she could have her picture taken while sitting in my car, she said the car and her were the same age... priceless.

I saw one awhile ago on the back of a seventy's K car, in three inch block letters that just said, OLD CAR BACK OFF! I have been thinking of adopting it my self ,cant heart.

I believe that in NJ 49 and earlier you can run with one on the back but they do give you two.

does any one in the south jersey, philly, del. area know of a good radiator shop. that is good with model A's ? I picked up a 30-31 radiator at a swap meet for 50 bucks last year looks to be in good...

getting gas one day in my 30 a guy walks up and takes a picture, says man that is cool, what is it ? so I reply thank you, it is a 1930 Model A ford . He takes another picture then asks who makes it...

I wouldn't change to 12volt but, if you do just change the bulbs and flasher the switch is just a switch.

tie rod install

the tie rod shaft on my 30 model a is bent and a new one was ordered and has arrived. I am looking at the front end, tie rod ends look good. so I am wondering if it is necessary to take the tie rod...

thanks for all the info barners. I have successfully replaced the center bolt and restacked springs.
looks like the center bolt had been broken for some time causing the leaf stack to shift and...

I miss wrote I should have wrote (spring clips) not shackles. I plan to leave the shackles and axle intact. that way I should not need a spreader ? and yes the tie rod is still bent.

last week I wrote about my A's tie rod rubbing and you guys were right it is a spring issue. It seams that the center bolt is gone and the leafs have moved around a bit.
