46 ford hard starting after driving

Complete stock flathead, starts instantly, drives great BUT after driving 5-10 miles and shut off for 10-15mins it starts a little harder and smells like gas. Still starts in 15-20secs but not nearly...

Falling out of 2nd gear

My 46 Ford ,NOS gears in trans,shifts smooth and quiet BUT on deceleration sometimes it will fall out of 2nd gear. Need to adjust linkage to trans arm a little longer??? Any suggestions,thanks!

Erratic speedo up to about 30mph

Speedo on my 46 is pretty erratic up to about 30-40mph. The cable gos through a gear changer for my Columbia then to my speedo. Any suggestions why I cant get steady reading while driving?thanks

Customer service????? You cannot get anyone to answer!! Everything is voice messaging. 2 days of calling and cannot contact anyone. So much potential for a company that is being run so poorly....

Had it with these guys,sent me $60 parts I hadnt even ordered!! Trying to get my refund is huge task. Every time you try to order your on phone for 20mins or get some clueless person on other end.

Thats my situation. Cupped washer compressed to tie rod end. Only way to get cotter pins in. Just didnt expect the rubber to be that compressed.Buy my stuff from 3rd generation,great service,parts!...

If you tighten the castleated nut far enough to get your cotter pin in then the original style grease retainer is really squished and cupped washer sits on tie rod end,no space. Thats with original...

Ford tie rod end boots

I recently had to remove tie rod ends to adjust toe in on my 46, they were siezed up on tie rod. In doing so the rubber boots or dust covers were damaged. Where can I purchase JUST the boots? Anyone...

Doing as we speak. Should have finished ,on road tomorrow afternoon. Have to adlust steering a tad also, center of wheel stays a bit left of center. Not alot but it can be corrected. Should go down...

Thank you,I thought so. BUT, I cant turn tie rod. These parts are all 7-8 years old on a car that has been under resto,in other words new parts. JUST got on road! Checked toe in,about 1/2 in shy....

Toe in adjusted by turning tie rod in or out? There are no sleeves on this so just turn tie rod

Tailgate latches 46 wagon

Latches on tailgate are pretty worn,tailgate not shutting tightly. Anyone ever try building these up with weld?? Other options? Thanks

Oil bath air cleaners 46-48 fords,bumper jack for same

Did the oil bath air cleaners also have a mesh filter around lid or was that just open?? Also been looking for a bumper jack for my wagon. Is that same as other models for those years? Any leads on...
