Re: 1933 Amber cowl lamp lens

Thanks Robert, a $9 can of paint will do the trick I believe.

Re: 1933 Amber cowl lamp lens

Re: replace '33 fuel sender with electric sender.

Where would you put the new gauge since you’re keeping the old one for looks?

Re: 33 Tudor turn signals

How early on the VW switch? Some of the early ones I’ve seen require removing the steering column to replace. Thanks

Re: Fuel filter best location

I’ve used the electrolysis method twice too with great success. I took the electric pump apart today, I think that was the main problem. I’ll update once I put it back together with only a gas...

Re: corrosive red re '33-'35 fuel gauge

My gauge read 3/4 when full before I pulled the dash to have it wood grained. The fuel gauge hung upside down for several weeks, now no red is visible. Would blowing air through the 1/8 copper line...

Re: Fuel filter best location

After pulling and cutting open the filter, there was crud on one side between the screen and outer skin of the filter. The previous owner of five years said the tank was new when he got the car. He...

Re: Columbia Two-Power Range decal

Geez Guys. I’m not looking for a judging recommendation. I’m just curious if there was a common place these decals were placed. Sheesh, such unnecessary sarcasm.

Re: Columbia Two-Power Range decal

Kube, I didn’t use the word “correct.” I said “reccomended” as dealers did. Photo from page 5-2 of 33-34 Restoration manual.

Columbia Two-Power Range decal

We recently completed the installation of a Columbia in my 33. Is there a recommended location for the decal that goes on the window glass?

Fuel filter best location

I have 33 Tudor, came to me with an electric pump that runs all the time. After filling the tank the other day, added 8 gallons. It ran about a mile, sputtered and stopped. After a tow home I...

33 Tudor dash light location

Where is the dash light located? I had the dash out to be wood grained and the cluster to be re-engine turned and didn’t see a bulb. Thanks.
