For Sale: '52 F2 59T Trans

Up for consideration is a '52 F2 59T trans. Looks to be in working order, everything moves free and it has the PTO output. Shifter seems to be missing the locating pin, so it swivels, but shifts...

Re: What Lube do you put in your Columbia S/W Speedo Changer?

Interesting... I just looked at JD's description, and they call it an "extra soft" grade lube. I imagine that would very much line up with the requirements of this application. I'm going to have to...

Re: What Lube do you put in your Columbia S/W Speedo Changer?

And you don't notice any noise coming from it? I had tried white lithium grease initially, though I didn't pack it, and the chatter was terrible. Went to a multi-purpose, more viscous grease and it...

What Lube do you put in your Columbia S/W Speedo Changer?

Here's my problem: I've got a few of these Stewart Warner speedometer changers - rectifiers as I like to call them, because it seems that's what they do - and I can't figure out what type of grease...

Re: 1937 ford 1.5 ton

Definitely '36 over '37 in my opinion. If you get it, I have some big truck parts you might be able to use should you need them.

Re: Opinions wanted on 3.78 in a Columbia

I recently got my '35 Ford truck together, and let me tell you, the Columbia makes all the difference.

I had 4:11's in it to begin with, as 10-spline 3.54's and 3.78's are hard to come by, but I...

Wanted: 35 Ford Door Handle

Hi folks, I'm looking for one or a set of interior door handles for a 35 Ford pickup. I'm not real picky, so long as they work - mine's broken. :(

Let me know what you've got.

Re: Shock link nuts

I found thin nyloc nuts at the local hardware store. I'm sure you can find them online. They're about half the thickness of a regular nut, so there's full thread engagement through the nylon. I'd...

Re: 16” Big and Little Tire Sizes For 35/36 Fords

I've got 6.00s on the front and 6.50s on the back of my '35 truck, with a 1" drop spring on the front. I'll find some pics, but I like how it sits. Just enough of a rake.

Re: speedometer issue

Your magnet might be shot. The odometers are controlled by gearing, and if they're working fine it would tell me your cable is hooked up and working properly, but you would only be able to tell that...

Can't speak for their engines, but I've bought a bunch of stuff from them with no issues. Great customer service as well.

Re: Galaxie 289 second oil pressure port?

There's one right behind the intake manifold at the back of the engine that I always use for direct oil pressure (most of the Ford motors from the 60s have the same spot) and there's one up front...

10 spline Pinion 3.54/3.78

Hi all, I'm looking for a good set of 3.54 or 3.78 rear end gears, with a 10 spline pinion. I'll even trade a 6 spline set for them :)

Anyone have a lead?

Thanks,
Mike

Re: '35 pickup gas tank mounting

Pics are worth a thousand words again. I should be good on measurements, downloaded a drawing with dims for all that. These help though. Thanks!
