Re: Driving season is coming soon (I hope)

Re: Rust protection for springs
I did my 36 spring with CRC Dry Graphite Lube, essentially a spray paint with graphite in it. It made the leaves very slippery, and then I wrapped the whole kit in PVC underground pipe wrap tape,...

Angledrive please tell us more about the 35 you installed electric power steering on!

I used this period aftermarket piece I found on ebay to recirculate my blowby. I think Its from an A model but still captures the fumes. I have since disconnected it from the breather and run...

Re: Pre bent brake line kit
The Early V8 Garage kit I bought for my 36 coupe was just shy of perfect. It was way better than I would have done myself with rock shields, proper clamps included, etc.
Not the cheapest but well...

Re: headers vs duals
I put a stainless dual exhaust with SS Smithys style muffs from Waldrons, LOVE the sound and I'll never have to replace anything. Costs a bit more than regular steel but I'll never have to replace...

Re: Windshield glass removal 39 coupe
I often use a heat gun to remove caulking and silicone. It may crack the glass unless you shield it with a piece of aluminum flashing or something like that

Re: 36' wing windows? i didn't know. . .

Re: 36' wing windows? i didn't know. . .
I have both kinds as mentioned in Don Rogers post above. They are both available, with new glass and the first one pictured has been replated.
I have decided not to run either of these on my car.

Re: headliner grabber/door tins....an idea
I used flexible metal tack strip for my headliner around the doors. Applied over the windlace. The headliner tucks into the strip and the teeth hold it in place. Tamped down snugly with a rubber...
