if you are unable to get rooms in Wendover, rather than stay in Salt Lake it is about 1/2 as many miles to Wells, Nv (60 miles) - still a bit of a drive but it is an option

Here is how I mounted mine - I built a bracket that clamps on to the stiffener that runs i high up on the kick panel (drilled no holes) it also has a lighter socket for the gps you can see.
