Re: 1940 Pickup Front Fender Bracket hole Location

Big truck cabs aren't just missing the hole on the little pad for the upper bracket, but also the three holes along the edge of the cowl as shown in the above photos.

Set of V8 hollow valve lifters, NOS flathead.

Set of super light, hollow non-adjustable valve lifters. These are NOS. Valve stems must be ground to adjust clearance. Price includes priority mail shipping. Can email pictures. Thanks.

V8 dual pulley water pumps system NOS

Hard to find dual pulley water pumps, crank pulley and fan pulley for '37 up flathead V8. All are NOS Ford pieces.

skid, in the back of the Ford "green book" there are diagrams of the various year bumper irons. Very helpful if you have to make some missing piece or have some un-marked irons.

Got the answer from Isky--there was a misprint on the card that came with the cam. Clearance is .014 both Int. and exh. This is the COLD setting for the 77B cam.

Well, cam card says .014. Have e-mailed Isky, we'll see if they can provide the clearance for cold setting.

I have an Isky 77B cam installed in my 276" 8BA. Specs call for .014 both Int. & Exh. HOT. Since its not possible to adjust the clearance HOT in a FH, what would be the correct clearance to use?...

I've rebuilt two '39 transmissions using NOS shafts and bearings, bearings slid right on the shafts by hand. Maybe should Mic the shaft and see what size it is.
