Re: Shop heater follow up
The cost for heat in my shop is almost free, the shop is '70x'60, the heater is a Lanier waste oil heater, the fuel is old transmission fluid. I realize this isn't a real viable option for the...

Re: Tudor seats
I appreciate the feedback, I wondered about LB, but search as I did, could not find just the covers, I guess I needed to call and ask. I've heard nothing but good about Elizabeth also. Many thanks!

Tudor seats
Does any company sell just the seat covers for my Tudor? It seems like the only way I can get the correct ones, is to buy a complete kit.

Re: plating
Craig, thanks for the good info., I've been reading previous threads and can tell you've been at this for awhile. Have you tried the small electro-plating system, the one w/the brush that you have...

Re: Howell's Sheetmetal
Guess I'm one of the lucky ones, but I live close enough to deal with Ryan (the owner) personally. More than once, he has stayed open late, just to help me. I don't know him well, but I do know he...

Re: What ever you do do not touch these levers
My highschool daily driver was a '30 deluxe sedan, in the early '80's. Two weeks after graduating I was in Basic Training @ Ft. Dix NJ. Eventually, I was in the drivers seat of a Deuce an a half (2...

Re: Ah Ha! I'm Brilliant!
A piece of vacuum line w/nylon strands in it will get you home if your coil wire goes bad. I also will use a piece of vacuum line, w/o nylon in it, and replace the coil wire w/it, for use as a theft...

Re: Treasure found in my Tudor!
Ya know Kieth, I feel the same way, to me it's just a quarter and if it hadn't been for my boy, I'd never know anything different. My heart wants to keep it with the car, like others have stated, it...

Re: Non-Model A oil usage
I usually change mine around 5k, and use a synthetic blend. However, I do it sooner if I think it needs it, it just depends on how dirty it looks, I don't like dirty oil in my svc. trk., as was...

Hey guys, thanks for the great advice. I did check out the e-bay auctions and was amazed! I think I need to have this thing graded, it really looks a little better than the one going for $1200. Ya...

Re: Treasure found in my Tudor!
I guess it all depends on its value. If it's just an old silver quarter, I think I'll mount it in the car as a memory. On the other hand, if it's really worth a lot, I'm sure my wife will have some...
