Yes, I was generalizing. You can add fluid, but they don't leak, so it is "sort of" sealed? They can be adjusted for winter, summer. I like the look and feel...

When I got my car it had a two blade fan... Actually it was a four blade fan with two blades hacksawed off. LOL. It was also micro cracked on some rivets. Needless to say I use a new aluminum two...

If you want some excellent shocks that look close to original, but are sealed and very well made, consider Stipe Shocks at the link below. I had mine tested and they came very close to original...

I cursed mine for many days. Warming helps. Soapy water helps. Pushing and prying from under helps. I had to cut/grind nearly half the top off to get latch and alignment right.

I agree they look good vs standard oval head screw by itself.

So you also have them with machine screws too on the steel part of the window door trim, not just the wood screws?

Probably written about before, but I have two upper window garnish wood screws maybe #8 or #10 broken off in the only spot I can put the metal vertical chrome garnish on. These screws look broken...

I have been informed by a forum member that my front window garnish should be woodgrain. Oh well, I chromed mine because it was rusty chrome to start and was probably original metal.

Thanks. I took it out and looked more closely and it has cracked so the retainer ring broke off as mentioned above.

Now to make matters worse, the keeper screw in the door to hold the lock housing...
