Yes, I was generalizing. You can add fluid, but they don't leak, so it is "sort of" sealed? They can be adjusted for winter, summer. I like the look and feel...

If you want some excellent shocks that look close to original, but are sealed and very well made, consider Stipe Shocks at the link below. I had mine tested and they came very close to original...

I have been informed by a forum member that my front window garnish should be woodgrain. Oh well, I chromed mine because it was rusty chrome to start and was probably original metal.

Thanks. I took it out and looked more closely and it has cracked so the retainer ring broke off as mentioned above.
Now to make matters worse, the keeper screw in the door to hold the lock housing...
