You are correct, the tail section of a 36 fender has a crown / convex to it while a 35 fender has a dip / concave tail where the stands bolt on.

The results are of poor planning and advertising on the auction companyís part. I donít consider the buyers as ripping off anybody. They paid the high bid on each of their purchases.

Speedy Bill had several engines displayed that were purchased at that auction. The tour guide I had said most were auctioned by accident and Ford tried to get them back.
