Eddie Morris has a CD called The Good Old Days of the Model A, I purchased it at the MAFFI opening, don't think these are real old songs, but Santa's Model A and Grandpa's Song sound OK

Thank you , I will pull the side cover off and take a look, The shaft is a two piece and the lower piece was not replaced when build in 1973.

Yes, the Snyders Book calls it upper shaft, but you are correct

Go to a hardware store and ask for Barbecue Black, High Gloss. This is a 1700 degree paint. I use it on manifolds and exhaust.

I did this, found a set of 1935 wheels, found a person who sprayed the new chome process, excellent look. Older aluminum very hard to find and newer designs just don't look the same.

I have a f150 overdrive with a chevy clutch, juice brakes. 70 mph all day long. Mitchell is nice, but if you can machine parts, f150 is the way to go.
