Re: Generator not charging

Katy,
I don't have a tachometer on my generator fixture, but the rpm is sufficient to allow model A generators to work. I have used this fixture for over 20 years and have used it to test many...

lincoln v-12 bank angle

I understand that the angle between the cylinder banks on a V-12 is 75 degrees. How do they get even firing of the cylinders with this arrangement? Do they have 2 plane crankshaft?

Re: My 1940 ford will not stay runing

I had a similar problem with a 40 Ford. It turned out to be a bad condenser. I added a spark checker between a plug and its wire and looked at the flash. After a short time the flash got dimmer...

Re: outside oioer

Thanks guys. I'd like to get the benefit of more oil to the front of the engine, without going to the trouble of removing magnets and adding slingers.
