My A/C is also a Ken Davis unit. It is a dual function, as it also serves as a heater.

I bought a Signal Stat unit from Sacramento Vintage Ford. It was wired specifically for the Model A. Easy to install. Complete wiring instructions. Has worked flawlessly now for 10 years.

If your oil return pipe is installed backwards it will stick out further than it should.

To save on shipping, mine came in 3 pieces: front pipe, muffler, and rear pipe. Without doing it that way, shipping to Alaska was going to cost more than the whole thing.

It must be able to be done successfully. I have purchased refurbished originals that have been replated. The one that is on my truck I got from Bert’s in Denver.
