Re: Future V-8er??

Sharing out of school here, but Michael has access to a primo fishing hole too. Charlotte is gonna be setting my prices in a few weeks, and I'll be happy to pay up.

Re: 35 convertible in the film “Chinatown “

Convertible Sedan, not a hot ticket then or today either. My 36 Phaeton is even more useless without any door locks or roll up windows. Maybe someone would think it is cool enough one day. Doesn't...

Re: 1935 1936 Inside Door or Window Handle Tool

The pins are very loose in my handles, that don't have springs yet.

I actually lost a pin in the grass today as I was fiddling with things, it just dropped to the ground as soon as I moved the...

Re: 1935 1936 Inside Door or Window Handle Tool

Thanks 51 Merc-CT, That's the gizmo I was visualizing!

If you've had it since the early '50's, then its a good bit older than me!

Re: What are the must haves for you're shop?

I know it's not politically correct these days, but I love a garage with a pit to work under the car. A lift and a pit is what I'd do if I was building a place. Some folks have their pit built into...

Re: 1935 1936 Inside Door or Window Handle Tool

Thanks very much Darrell, I see this is being listed by 3rd Generation Automotive too! Bonus.

The one I remember seeing here on the 'Barn seemed to be white plastic.

1935 1936 Inside Door or Window Handle Tool

Hi Everyone. I need to put in the springs and pins that hold the door and window handles onto the inside of my '35. Some previous owner, or their upholstery shop, removed them and tossed them away....

Re: clutch rod clevis? 1933 model B

Thank you David. I didn't know that about the 33-34 four's. Heck there's almost everything I don't know about those year vehicles. I learn a lot by reading your work!

Re: F1 Spare Tire Carrier Nut

Kismet! That's like a forty mile round trip!

I drive two hours each way to get to my V-8 guru's version of Mecca and am tickled pink to do it!

One of these days I'll make sure to get to...

Re: clutch rod clevis? 1933 model B

Oh my YES. Just for the extra light I'd pull the floor up. On my cars 35 & 36 V-8's it's a bit of a pain, but I think I've done it about twenty times one each car. Wooden toe boards gotta come out...

Re: 1937-40 Ford Flathead V-8 60 Horsepower Parts

The only time I had some V-8 60 stuff for sale it was grabbed within minutes. That was in 2010-11 time frame at a V-8 Club national meet swap. I guess I ran into the right buyer...

I'd haul it...

Re: 1932 Ford V8 Head Light Bar

From what I see a whole lot of folks use the swap but don't read the message board. So I'm not sure if this type of accident is helpful or hurtful for the vendor.

Re: Need help Identifying trunk lids year

Re: 1932 Firewall Blueprints

Hi Everyone. Personally, if I were interested in accuracy I would only trust the documents at the BFRC. JMHO. I'm a library nerd so it's heaven to me.

Re: 59AB Cooling System Advice Needed from the Experts (not an overheating issue)

As to the cooling question... My 36 runs with plenty of coolant in the large top tank, like an inch over the tubes. In 10+ years nothing has ever come out of the rad cap area or overflow tube. ...
