Well for a start...I would try to contact the Sutro Library (I think that is the name of it) in the San Francisco area and do a search in their old phone books for this company (You know the address)...

I have taken a rubber mallet or rubber hammer and just hit it on one side then the other then stright on in those three areas and eventually it will work it's way out.

No damage.

Does anyone have bolt A-11377-DR, also known as the Head Spring Screw, for the 1928 Bendix starter.

It could be that the welting is slightly thicker than that of the original welting.

Is the welting the type with the wire inside the welting itself?

Did you put any type of material...

Great question...Not sure yet...However most bodies in question were Ford built I think...Need lots more data from owners of original cars.

Some of us were looking over our Model A's a few days ago and found something interesting.

The body styles involved were Roadsters, Standard Coupes, Special Coupes, Sport Coupes and Business...
