I just sold my 14 trailer that Ive had for over 30 years. It worked fine for Model As and it also hauled a lot of other (longer) cars too.

Re: Need to replace oxy-acetylene torch set

If you liked your Airco torch, get it rebuilt.

My first torch was a MECO Jet; which is lightweight and not clunky. I tried to buy a cutting torch for it in the mid 1960’s and was offered a good...

Re: Did you restore the car yourself?

Interesting question. Some people will tell you that they did it all, but don’t seem to have the knowledge to answer any questions about the vehicle.

One of my favorites, while looking at a very...

Re: Dealing with pitted body panels?

After application, will the top coats reactivate the primer and shrink? Does it matter what top coat you apply?

Re: Turn Signals . . . Your Thoughts

I’ve been thinking about putting turn signals on my A. I don’t think people pay attention to arm signals, when they encounter an old car.

Re: Bubble balancer from HF?

The HF balancer looks just like the one I bought 45+ years ago; which is about the same price that I paid for the one I bought. I mount and bubble balance all my own tires.

Re: Portland Swap Meet, fun places to eat, etc.

If you like fish, there is Joe’s Crab Shack just north on I-5 across the river on the right, on the river. If you are going to go there, use a GPS to get there I always get lost looking for it.

I...

Re: Forming the front upper corner after welding

It looks like that area has been worked before. I would imagine that what is left of the metal that is there, is thinner than original. Do a good repair on it, like what has been mentioned and it...

Re: Title change

It doesn't matter what other states do, but you need to find out what options are available to you in your state. I think that I'd talk to your licensing agency in your area. They might refer you...

Re: Insurance

Farmers do not use Grundy, at least that wasn't the option that was offered to me. At that time that I switched, Grundy was just offering insurance to daily drivers, so everything that I had went to...

Re: Insurance

I used to have Farmers, until they wouldnt insure my old cars. Just about that time Grundy started insuring daily drivers, so I moved all of my cars to Grundy; which gave me better coverage for less...

Re: Roadster Windshield Frame Value?

Re: putting gasoline in your Model A

I've read several posts, where someone is putting their gas into a can, then pouring it into the car; which if you are on the road and away from home doesn't seem like the way that I'd like to go. I...

Re: putting gasoline in your Model A

In Oregon, it is against the law to pump your own gas. I'm use to Washington, where most places you pump your own gas, unless there is a full service (very rare) station available. So when I'm...
