Can someone guide me as how to best remove the rumble seat from a 35 ford coupe? I need access to the top of the gas tank. I'm sure all I need is to remove the seat cushions but not sure slide back,...

Yes but that puts the vent in "harms way" if the car is driven in the rain... which is not usually the case but possible. Just concerned about debris and moisture entering the tank. There is a spot...

Let me clarify. Not the tail lamp housing itself but inside the lower part of the mount for the tail lamp. Its just above the fender - separated by a rubbers sheet from the inside of the fender, but...

Thanks for the help. I think I found a way to put the vent within the housing for the tail light. The fender has a pretty steep angle at that point but will try to fab an angled bracket.
