I dont know about the actual spark... But I rebuilt the mechanicals in my stock '35(40) distributor with an 11A advance ... It doesnt start jumping points till around 8000rpm

'35 Roadster 3.54 rearend - single 97carb LB 221" will do 90+mph ... so around 3800rpm? Run out of breathing it seems around there but not lacking in power....

I just rebuilt the original foot starter for my 35..... it was pretty well corroded in there... i sanded and polished all surfaces before reassembling. wasn't a bad job to do.

I have a stripped down Model-A roadster with a hopped up model-B engine... it has 3.54 rear gears and a home made overdrive in the torque tube... the problem with mine is that it also has Lincoln...

I did this for a friends 36 Tudor recently... took a lot more thinking then work... but in the end it fit and worked out well. I personally would stick with the older engines if I had the choice for...
