Re: Model A spark plug chart identification

It's signed by Ed Eaton and dated 1986. If memory serves, Ed Eaton was involved with the Judging Standards committee back on the 1980's. Perhaps someone else can shed more light on this??

Re: Sedan or tudor

If I understand your question, it's the same thing. Ford referred to that body style as a Tudor Sedan.

Re: Model A Body Assembly video

Couple things: I didn't see any safety devices for the big body panel press that would keep the young guy pulling finished rear body panels out after stamping from getting caught in the press by...

Re: Engine work after 70 years of not running!!

One more thing...the big spring that attaches to the base of oil pump in the 30 Tudor with the loose cover also was rusted away and floating loose in the pan, leaving nothing to hold it in place. ...

Re: Engine work after 70 years of not running!!

I bought a mystery 30 Tudor last Sept. with the same non running history as your 29. Pulled the pan and found horrors to behold therein.
1.Fiber timing teeth in pan
2. loose oil pump cover.
3....

Re: model A Fordor year (Briggs) ?

Re: Storing restored model A without a garage or carport

Re: 1930 Ford Canadian Standard Pheaton 35-B Body Colours

Dey: I looked at your photos with great interest. Yes. That's a 1930 sport coupe. Rather than chopping up those doors to build a make believe cabriolet, why don't you just restore the sport coupe...

Re: Contemporary Photos of Model A Fords

I noticed a few photos of FDR with a Model A roadster. If he actually drove the car, it must have had hand controls. Later on, I believe FDR drove a 35 or 36 Ford Phaeton with hand controls.
