I agree. Nice job "thinking outside the box" on the battery hold down. I have a 12v battery and it is hard to find a hold down that fits the battery and works with the original box. Yours would work...

Really? I tried the GL1500 in my trans and it was really hard to shift in the morning. And it doesn't get that cold it Southern California.

Once it warmed up it shifted OK but nothing spectacular....

2X I also have two 12v Tenders.

I was gifted one on these and it lasted about 2 months before the 'Mode' button started bulging and it blink twice and died....

I have run 3Xs in the past but now run W-18s. The W-18s run a little cooler than the 3Xs with my set up.

Yes 12v. That is the one I use. I use the FL-3 because it has a connection for a pilot (indicator) light.
I'm running red LEDs in the rear and amber incandescent bulbs in my headlight reflectors...

We just use an old 55 gal. drum under the car. Don't know if this would work on a Model A tho...:eek::eek:
