I did same in my 56 Ford, using one from a 52 Ford, only shortened the drive shaft, works great.

I have one in my 50 Shoebox hung behind a C 4 and a 302 Y Block with a McCollough Super Charger, love it.

I vote for Newport, working great in my 50 and 52 Fords, and in the throes of installing them in my 56 Sunliner. They handle Florida Rain which can really be heavy.

When did you order the interior? I ordered an Ultraleather Rolled and Pleated Cover and seat repair kit from EZ-Boy Three years ago. Turned out great. Now they are offering original coverings only...

I didn't think Easter was a good time to call. The seat is in Oviedo, upholstery is two tone blk/red. I have a new rod doors seat for the truck. So it is available after 4 bolts are extracted.
